Who makes this
Nestique is made by Jon Dykstra, an independent publisher of home design sites. The tools turn the rules of thumb designers use into something you can try on your own room in a few taps.

Good to know
Questions, answered
Are the Nestique tools really free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use with no sign-up and no limit on how many times you use it. The site will carry ads in the future to pay for itself.
Do the tools work on a phone?
Yes. Every tool is built for a phone first, with large buttons and steppers instead of tiny drag handles. Nothing needs to be installed.
Where do the design rules come from?
Each tool uses the rules of thumb that interior designers and home publications repeat most often, such as leaving 12 to 18 inches of floor around a rug. Every tool page explains the rules it checks and the assumptions it makes.
Can I use metric measurements?
Yes. Tools start in feet and inches, and a toggle on each tool switches to centimeters. Your choice is remembered on your device.
Do you store what I enter?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your measurements are never sent to a server. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools get used.
